All services associated with our COVID-19 vaccine clinics are 100% bulk-billed to Medicare cardholders.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT OUR COVID-19 VACCINATION CLINICS
When you attend our practice for your COVID-19 Vaccination, you will be assessed by one of our qualified nurses, who will then administer the vaccine once your eligibility and consent is confirmed. Our GPs remain available on-site to assist where necessary.
PLEASE NOTE, the COVID-19 Vaccination appointments are for COVID-19 vaccinations only – i.e. there won’t be an opportunity for any other health matters to be addressed during your COVID-19 vaccination appointment.
Fees may apply if appointments are cancelled, or if patients do not attend their scheduled visit without 2 hours’ notice (we’re trying to ensure we don’t have any wasted doses)
Due to the number of patients attending the vaccination clinics, waiting room chairs are limited and reserved for patients only. Please only attend by yourself whenever possible.
COVID-19 VACCINATION EXEMPTIONS:
Please note there are only a limited number of medical conditions which would qualify a person for either a temporary or permanent COVID-19 Vaccination exemption. Our GPs and nurses CANNOT issue exemptions for people who do not have a confirmed reason for an exemption.
Reasons for a permanent medical exemption are limited to the following:
Anaphylaxis (a type of severe allergic reaction) to a previous dose of all COVID-19 vaccine types.
Anaphylaxis after exposure to any component of the vaccine, including polysorbate 80 for AstraZeneca, & polyethylene glycol (PEG) for Pfizer and Moderna.
Any other serious adverse event, that following review by an experienced immunisation provider/medical specialist was attributed to a previous dose of both a AstraZeneca vaccine and Pfizer/Moderna vaccine (and without another cause identified).
History of capillary leak syndrome [AstraZeneca Only]
TTS occurring after a previous dose of the vaccine [AstraZeneca Only]
Myocarditis and/or pericarditis attributed to a previous dose of an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine [Moderna or Pfizer]
